The Darkness Of Denial
In Texas just the other day a protest was held by people protesting the state’s handling of the case of a black man who was run over and dragged by a truck driven by “friends” that turned into a skinhead demonstration as white supremacist took to marching in opposition of the eradication of a human life. No one was convicted for the life taken.
In Pennsylvania, the denial of black KIDS into a swimming area while racist remarks were made within hearing distance of these kids. A website, hosted by “police officers,” was brought to light when someone decided to press charges based on the racial slurs that had been posted. Officer involved shootings of black men in Louisiana, Oakland and other cities across the country are constantly in the news.
The arrest of Louis Gates and the denials of “any wrong doing” demonstrate loudly that America is still plagued with racism. On a daily basis of late there has been one article after another of how racism is rearing it’s ugly head in America and how “white Americans” refuse to look at the root causes of racism in America.
The denials that racism does not exist in America is more than a denial it is a bold face lie and it will never end as long as this lie is perpetrated and condoned through excuses, denials and more lies and shows how ignorant some Americans truly are.
How you can deny what is real when it is smacking you in the face on a daily level is beyond me. How you can “accept” and lend justification to what you see happening is a crime worse than the crimes being perpetrated in Iran against the peaceful demonstrators there. I am sickened by the displays and angered at the denials.
This is not over and in fact the incidence of white supremacist and terroristic acts by police officers will only increase in America as things begin to change politically because “white supremacist” and the attitudes they foster will not change. As the “power” begins to shift, which I know it will after watching “Black In America” and observing the determination of young blacks to go after what they want in America, the hate will increase as whites begin to feel their “fundamental right to power” slip through their hands.
This is disgraceful, irrational, controlling and petty. Racism is ignorant and those who participate, deny, condone through excuses are just as ignorant as racism itself. This needs to stop and stop immediately because a change is blowing in on the wind. It has been a long hard struggle to achieve this change but you can not stop the change that is happening.
Your violence did not stop it in the 60’s and your ignorance and denials will not stop it now. The only thing it does is show your fear, your hate and your ignorance as you try to cover up what is real and demonstrated on nearly a daily basis in one city or another all across America.
You are no better than the Taliban/al-Qaeda with your attempt at terrorism by way of carrying a badge, blatantly marching while yelling racial slurs or recruiting, from the internet, followers for the cause of chaos.
And that’s the way I see it!!!!
