Sarah Palin’s Hidden Agenda

While many are speculating on just what is behind the resignation of Sarah Palin, I think she has a hidden agenda based on her ideology of conservatism and the reluctance to accept change or the money Obama has offered, which she pats herself on the back for not accepting. A great deal of her exit speech was directed at just these concepts.

The biggest disguised comment was “only dead fish go with the flow” using this to indicate her dislike with the way of the flow and intimating that she was not about to “hunker down” as though she were dead and simply “go with the flow”. She also hinted at just what flow she was not inclined to go with.

The excessive spending of the Obama Administration along with the idea of too much government involvement in free enterprise stating how we should “have respect for our constitution where government is suppose to serve from the bottom up and not move to this big government take over, but rather will be protectors of individual rights.”

Listening to her words her “higher calling” may just be her mission to discredit President Obama now that she has a platform and the ear of the public, while getting paid to do this through speaking engagements, thereby killing two birds with one stone in an attempt to pay down some of the expenses incurred during the ethics probe that was staged against her and possibly earning enough money and support to stage a run for the White House.

Fueled by her “popularity” and the push from others to become the next Republican nominee for the 2012 presidential campaign, it just feels as though this will be her goal – to discredit Obama’s agenda by promoting her own agenda. Time will tell for sure but her lead into this seems obvious to me by her choice of words in her resignation speech and the cryptic message she left on her website stating her “higher calling” with the aim of uniting the country along conservative lines.

She puts down wasteful spending in Alaska, wasteful spending by “lame duck” Governors who “milk” the system and simply draw a paycheck, the wasteful spending of tax payers money in the ethics charges that were brought against her and states that her choice is to take a stand and ‘effect positive change outside of state government’ for Alaska and for Americans”.

What she has learned through her narrow escape of the ethics committee scrutiny is to be a little more devious as to not draw attention to her activities but when caught, pay what needs to be paid to make the problem go away. It will be interesting to see what happens in the months ahead and just how much money she will be able to amass on a speaking circuit, all the while recognizing that Alaska is the wave of the future in terms of energy and fuel dependency. How better to control that future than by being in “The office of Presidency”.

This speech, more and more, sounds like she is laying the groundwork for a platform of conservative politics she hopes to cultivate on a speech circuit in the near future. Her hope being to win supporters in opposition of Obama’s style of government and paving the way for what she hopes is a take over for the run for president in 2012 or beyond. She has visions of grandeur playing in her head and her words lead me to believe that these are the reasons for her resignation. Prove me wrong Sarah, please prove me wrong.

And that’s the way I see it!!!
